*My dinner was my own concoction and it was quite yummy. Here's the basic "recipe":
Combine 1/2 T. softened butter with a small drizzle of maple syrup and a bit of freshly grated cinnamon. Toss 1/2 C. diced sweet potatoes and 1/2 C. diced apples with the butter mixture and place in baking dish. Cook 350 degrees, 20 minutes. Add 2 oz. sliced polska kielbasa and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Meanwhile, melt 1/2 T. butter in small skillet. Add 1 C. coarsely chopped cabbage (and a small amount of diced onion, if desired), and cook, stirring frequently, until the cabbage is tender. Serve sweet potato - apple - kielbasa mixture over fried cabbage.
